The Danish Sommelier Championship 2025 at Moltkes Palæ was not only a showcase of talent, knowledge and precision. It was also a celebration of our community. An event like this is only possible thanks to the many people who gave their time, energy and skills.

The championship is not only about competing. It is also about strengthening the sommelier profession in Denmark and showing the richness of our wine and beverage culture.
To our competitors
A big thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s DM and in the admission test for DSF membership.
The three finalists from this year will next month get the chance to compete against former DM finalists to decide who will represent Denmark at the ASI World Championship in Portugal 2026.
We also encourage more Danish sommeliers to already start preparing for next year’s “Best Sommelier of Denmark 2026”. Now is the time to find training partners among colleagues in the restaurant trade and begin the journey!
